Programs
The
Office of Student Support (OSS) strives to provide high quality
programs and services that encourage each student to develop
the skills
and qualities that foster continual personal and academic growth
and well-being, and that enable each student to thrive in and
contribute to a vibrant, safe, diverse and inclusive community
at Cornell and beyond.
OSS provides counseling and advocacy; training
and educational programs; outreach and community building; and
volunteer service and leadership development opportunities. Through
the wide variety of programs and services, students are given
the opportunity to learn and enhance life skills, including interpersonal,
human relations, communication, counseling, crisis prevention,
values clarification, appreciating differences, decision-making,
training and leadership
development.
