  • Art Gallery
    The Willard Straight Hall Art Gallery provides an arena for campus and local artists to exhibit their works; 12-14 shows are sponsored by the Willard Straight Hall Program Board each academic year. The WSH Gallery exhibit guidelines are available on-line.

  • Cornell Ceramics Studio
    The Ceramics Studio offers an impressive array of classes, workshops, and exhibitions to the Cornell and Ithaca communities.

  • Music Room
    The music room offers a relaxed environment for informal study while listening to a broad array of tapes, CDs, and albums. Membership is free, and training is provided by student volunteers. Willard Straight Hall program board periodically purchases new selections and equipment.

  • WSH Darkroom
    The darkroom offers classes and a creative outlet for students and staff interested in photography.

  • Banner Space
    Banner space is available above the entrance to the Memorial Room. Priority is given to in-house organizations, but anyone using the Memorial Room has the right to have a banner hung at least during the time they have the room. Reservations for banner space can be made in 523 WSH and are on a first-come, first-served basis. You may not reserve the space for more than 3 days per event.

  • Facility Rentals
    WSH has a variety of spaces suitable for meetings, seminars, programs, conferences, parties, dances, and banquets. Available rooms include the Memorial Room, Terrace, North Room, three lofts, and the Guest Suite. For more information on occupancy limits and reservations, contact the reservations office at 255-3513. Also, you might want to review the on-line version of the WSH policy and guidelines manual.

  • Student Offices and Mailboxes
    Willard Straight Hall provides offices and mail service to a number of student organizations.

  • Study Areas
    There are a number of comfortable areas at the Straight for informal study, including the Browsing Library, International Lounge, and Music Room.
